Founded in 2008 CB Insights is a machine intelligence platform based in New York City. Using machine learning to synthesise, analyse, and visualise millions of data points to give fast, fact based insights, CB Insights helps their clients make better decisions to capitalise on change. By hiring people who are happy, helpful, humble, and hungry, the company has grown strategically into a thriving organisation.

The Challenge

Since Menaka joined CB Insights in 2014, the company has gone from just 25 employees to over 200. During this time of rapid growth, she quickly realised it was unsustainable to continue tracking all the important employee information in spreadsheets, and she was stuck with so many administrative tasks that she didn’t have any time to devote to people.
